Brief Generator, began as a simple irreverent exercise to see whether I could automate my tutor. I created a tool that took a series of inputs, derived from previous briefs from the Com Des Course at GSA, and previous students works. Then wrote an alogirthym to randomise the output. I took a user-centred approach in order to identify what method of brief generation was most effective, and conducted user testing on my peers.
The end result became a fictitious all inclusive subscription service that facilitates automated production of higher education design course. Satirising, the swelling mountains of pressure on creative institutions to find a viable business model through increased growth, as a result of reduced public funding for art's education.
